The May exams are just around the corner but there is time to be better prepared. Throughout February and March, we will be hosting Exam Study Weekends to provide a productive space for additional revision. Students will practice exam papers under the guidance of our teachers.
Unlike our revision courses, these sessions are purely for supervised exam practice - there will not be any fixed lessons.
Students can choose to join us for one or two days (or more!) for the subject(s) they want to study. For example, in one weekend maths and physics will be taught so students taking both subjects can choose to practice both sets of exams.
Consecutive days do not have to be selected if you would like to join us for two days. When booking, please let us know which day(s) you want to attend.
Below you will find the current schedule of subjects. Depending on requests, more sessions may be added in March.
Times: 09:00 - 18:00
Location: Utrecht, the Netherlands
- March 6-7: Business & Management (SL & HL) // Economics (SL & HL) // History (SL & HL)
Is this programme for me?
If you are a DP2 student taking the May 2021 exams then this is a good opportunity for extra exam practice. Our teachers will answer all your questions and manage your exam stress, to ensure that the upcoming period is spent productively to give you that final boost. Should you want additional support, you can then consider the Spring or April Courses.
On the novel coronavirus
The Dutch government announced stricter measures to tackle the increase of Covid cases in the Netherlands. Schools were among the many institutions that will likely be closed until early February and the current stance is that lessons should continue online.
However, an exception is made for educational institutions that provide in-person lessons for students preparing for their exams. The government recognises that students could face difficulties otherwise, and that they need to make use of the additional support provided during this period - as such we can proceed as planned with these sessions.
It is important for us to ensure the safety of students and staff, and to keep your mind at ease when booking a course. Registrants are entitled to a full refund in the event that the exam weekends are cancelled due to Covid, whether it's initiated by IB.Academy, the registrant, or forced by government policies. If you have any questions about our policy surrounding the coronavirus, please do not hesitate to contact us.
